oh2cruise Posted December 18, 2005 #1 Share Posted December 18, 2005 Does anyone know if any of the GC Resorts offer day passes for cruise passengers so we can use their facilities (i.e., pool, beach, restaurants, etc.) for the day?? Thanks for your help. Hi Oh2, we also often like to hit a resort for a few hours in port, get drinks and snacks at the pool, play around on the beach. In GC the Hyatt welcomes cruisers for free if you aren't a large group, and if you mention the Cayman Activity Guide. But no cruisers during the holidays from Dec. 20 to Jan. 5, and they might nix that deal when their reno is completed later this spring. The Wharf is free, a beach/bar/restaurant, but no pool. Comfort Suites and the Royal Palms is also free, but not as upscale as the Hyatt. The Courtyard charges $8 p.p. including loungers. Also free at the Colony (Colonial) Beach Club, but it's often crowded with cruisers b/c that is where the beach tours go from the ships. Don't know about the Ritz, Marriott, and Wyndham. -Bob
