Chill out Beach, Southern Tour and Tropical Lunch Tour

We will be in Bonaire on the Equinox in May and wondered if anyone had any feedback about this tour. It is offered by Celebrity and Viator, includes a tour, buffet lunch and a stop at Plaza Beach.

Hi, just came on here to leave a review on this tour. We did it last week with RC. We were very disappointed with the tour part of this excursion. First of all, Bonaire is a pretty ugly island. We saw miles and miles of rocks along the shore (no beaches), and the rocks are full of garbage. We were on an open-air bus which was fine but the wind was loud so I could not hear a lot of what the guide said. (The wind is a LOT stronger on the A-B-C islands than in other areas of the Caribbean.) The bus made ONE stop, to see some tiny slave homes. The most interesting part of Bonaire are the salt flats / the salt mountain with pink water - it didn't stop there! We couldn't get any pictures at all. So we ended up at Delfins for the beach and lunch...that was a really nice place...but everyone kept saying how "mean" the bartender lady was...and the rocks along the beach make it a bit dangerous getting in and out of the water. As far as snorkeling, we didn't bother because there wasn't much to see. Hardly any fish at all. We had a different bus driver bring us back to the ship, no tour guide on the way back.

Just to add...the food and atmosphere at Delfins was AMAZING, service was a bit slow...but it doesn't fill you up, we were still kinda hungry. Our lunch was not a buffet, so maybe you are going to a different place.

Thank you both for your responses. I am thinking we might want to try a different tour or beach experience. Or maybe just wander around town and find a nice spot for lunch.
