Just wondering. Has anyone done this excursion, I booked it. I read the reviews and they were good. Just looking for a little more information. How far from port is it? My time is from 12:30-4:30 Is that enough time to get back to the ship on time? TIA!

We just did it on Jan. 19th when we were there on the Carnival Breeze. You get on 4 seat Can-AM UTVs in the parking lot outside the Carnival port (Puerto Maya) and drive them ~12 Km north in a procession along the main road parallel to the west coast to Aviomar Adventors on the north side of the island which is about 30 minute drive each way. If you booked it through the cruise line they will wait for you even if you are late coming back (unless you get lost in Three Amigos drinking margaritas.) Couple other things; you will get dirty driving the ATVs so pack accordingly and the ride in the little speedboats is very rough so if you have a bad back you may want to reconsider this excursion...
