Pacific Sun Stairwells and Lifts

Skyrules

Here's a tip for those of you travelling on Pacific Sun for the first time, in the hope you don't get as confused as I did when I first boarded her.

The centre stairwell does not have access to anything on Atlantic Deck (Deck 8 - the restaurant/show lounge level). It actually passes through the galley, which is located between the two restaurants. There is a rear entrance into one of the dining rooms located on the stairwell, but it is never open, so you can't access either of the restuarants or the show lounge from this stairwell.

The Bourdeaux Dining Room is accessed from the aft stairwell, and the Burgundy Restaurant, Atlantis Show Lounge, Speakeasy Piano Bar, Library/Internet Cafe and Duty free shops are accessed from the forward stair well.

The centre stairwell provides access from passenger cabin decks through to the Promenade deck and above.

Another trick is the aft lifts only go as far as the Promenade deck, however the stairs go one deck higher to the Lido Deck and come out into the Outback Bar, just positioned nicely to join the que for the breakfast buffet.
