Taking liquor on board

Recommended Posts

We just returned from our first Celebrity cruise to the Baltic and had absolutely no problem taking wine and liquor on board to be consumed in our cabin. It was not even mentioned when putting everything through the scanner when boarding. We even bought rum, scotch and Bailey's in the duty free shop on board and were told that if we brought in the carry-all bag supplied in our cabin that we could take them back to our cabin for consumption there (for no extra fee).

i've never had a problem, even on caribbean cruises. in fact, i've even purchased liquor on the ship and they let me take it to mey cabin without me even asking. these threads tend to start a lengthy spirited discussion.
