Pastor Shane Posted December 20, 2005 #1 Share Posted December 20, 2005 My wife and I just received an upgrade on the Caribbean Princess to a balcony room on the Riviera deck. I have read that a number of balconies are uncovered on this ship and I am wondering if the balconies on the Riviera deck are amongst those that are uncovered. Any help you may give would be appreciated. Thanks.

marlinmike Posted December 20, 2005 #3 Share Posted December 20, 2005 Pastor, I'm not sure what Redsqj is implying with his link to Suite Perks, maybe it's because some of the rooms on the Riveria Deck are full suites. Stayed in one once - pretty nice. But in answer to your question, all balconies on this deck are fully covered. In fact the floor above you is the Lido deck and it cantilevers out about 3 or 4 feet so there is quite an overhang out past the edge of your deck. We really enjoyed this a couple times during rain storms, especially at night watching the rain, moon, stars, ocean, clouds and lightning storms in the distance and not have to worry about getting wet at all. Enjoy!
