Cabin Attendants

I have read several comments regarding room attendants not cleaning thoroughly or not removing dirty glasses or replacing towels ,etc. Can you call "the front desk" or a housekeeping number to request clean glasses and towels, etc.? And does someone respond?

I have only read good things about the responsiveness of the attendants. I've only sailed once so far and can definitely say it was this way on my cruise.

If your cabin steward is not performing his or her job properly you can contact the housekeeping staff by telephone. Yes, they do respond.:)

 

That said, the chances of having a lousy steward are very slim. The most frequent complaints about the stewards seems to come from the Hawaiian sailings on POA or POAM. Hopefully they're resolving their issues, and perhaps these complaints will dwindle away.

I would also suggest attending the CC gathering, if one is organized through your roll-call. Often several Officers attend, including the Hotel Director or Asst. Hotel Director. They usually give you their cards with their direct phone #. If you are not getting satisfaction, call them. You WILL get what you need.

Call Housekeeping - there will be a number in your room. We have always experienced very good stewards but occasionally needed something 'extra'. We called Housekeeping and someone quickly responded and their was a follow-up call to make sure that we got what we needed.
