After reading terrible reviews, we decided to cancel and booked an excursion to Riu instead. We wanted to book an excursion through carnival and not too far from the dock for this port. I still hope you have a good time!

So I knew there was a charge to use their beach. We are considering taking the free shuttle from the ship and just going there to sit outside by the pool for lunch. Has anyone ever done that? Their website says no one under 18 can swim in the pool. Is that true??

One of the reviews I read said they couldn’t take their kids in the pool (this was on carnival’s website). I don’t know the kids ages. From what I’ve read it’s not too far from the port so you may be much better off going there without paying for the excursion
