Lunch back on the ship while in Harvest Caye?

I know that you have to pay for food on Harvest Caye and also that the ship is docked right at the island. Can people go back on the ship for lunch? Is it a long walk?

yes you can go back to the ship. it's a maximum of 15-20 min walk back to ship depending on where you are on the island. last month we were almost at the edge at one of the bars trying to catch the SEC championship game and it took us approx. 20 minutes to walk back to the ship

Thanks for the info! I also found out that there is a golf cart shuttle to and from the ship to the island. I'm doing two excursions on this cruise and any money I can save is good. No need to spend money on a meal that I have already paid for on the ship :-).

We plan on going back on the ship to eat lunch also. We have a large family group so it will save us some money. We will probably buy some drinks while on the beach.
