C 2 C Posted December 21, 2005 #1 Share Posted December 21, 2005 I guess the reason that Mercury bookings were halted is that Celebrity changed departure times from 7 p.m. to 5 p.m. X's website does not allow bookings as yet but your TA or X will handle calls for bookings. Is this something new? I have the itinerary for my April Mercury cruise printed from their internet site on 12/12/05 and it says it departs at 5pm. Joe Beach Posted December 21, 2005 #3 Share Posted December 21, 2005 Arno, my TA said the fax of departure time change was for Feb 13, Mar 6 & 27 and Apr 17 only.
scott in maine Posted December 21, 2005 #4 Share Posted December 21, 2005 In don't think this represents any change whatever. All along, numerous sailings on Mercury out of SAN have always shown varying departure times -- mostly at 5pm and some at 7pm -- I think even one or more at 9pm. I can't comment on why, but I do not believe there has been any schedule changing of late. Again, the bulk of SAN departures on Mercury for the 05-06 sailing season have always listed at 5pm.
