Cave Tubing

I was wondering how deep the water is on cave tubing. My Wife can is afraid if water is over her head. Also what type of shoes do most people wear and do most people wear bathing suits or are you able to change clothes and shoes. I was thinking about wearing the water type shoes but if there is alot of hiking they might not be the most comfortable.

I only got wet up to my waist, and that was mainly from crossing the river. Other than that, you're sitting in a tube the whole time.

 

I personally recommend cavetubing.com. We had a blast last week with them.

The depth of the river varies a lot, from super shallow to quite deep. The area near the restaurant has a diving area which is obviously very deep. I am also afraid of deep water, but I just wore my life jacket and was not nervous. Many people do not wear their life jackets, but many do. Tell her to do what makes her comfortable!

We just got back from Cave Tubing Tuesday the 13th. We had a good time. We went with Reggie's and it was a lot of fun. I felt safe the whole time. There are so many people around that you don't feel in danger.
