If you choose "a la carte" for the lunch, can you still get food from the buffet?

On our first sea day (Sunday), I ordered off the a la carte menu and didn’t care for my selection. I walked over to get a tutti salad and hot buffet items. There is no wall separating the two sides.

Thanks, nice that they have some hot food items on the buffet in addition to the Tutti Salad.

Actually, the hot buffet is quite extensive. So, you get lots of choices on the hot food, the great salad bar, ice cream sundae options--and the dessert bar. It's a lot of fun. Just leave room for dinner! - Musing About Cruising

Our last sailing on Allure you could order via a la carte and get food from buffet for both breakfast and lunch. A decent amount of options for various tastes.
