SLL Posted December 22, 2005 #1 Share Posted December 22, 2005 Help us decide between Coral Reef & Stingray Safari or Stingray Sandbar Tour; both through Carnival. We are wanting to snorkel some and see the stingrays. Any thoughts from those who have done either of these tours will be appreciated. suzy1212 Posted December 23, 2005 #2 Share Posted December 23, 2005 We were in Grand Cayman on the Conquest last week. We did the Coral Gardens and Stingray Sandbar with Soto's. Cost was $30 a person. It was great. I highly recommend them. Carnival offered Stingray Sandbar alone for $49 or Stingray Sandbar and Coral Reef for $65. Ripley Posted December 27, 2005 #3 Share Posted December 27, 2005 Consider booking an excursion outside the cruise line. You'll see from these boards there are several reputable companies that offer wonderful excursions at a lower cost and smaller crowds than the cruise lines. We were on RCI's Mariner of the Seas in August and did Nativeway's "Rays, Reef and Rum Point" tour. It was the highlight of our cruise! CL
