Not going to Dominica

Just go notice from our travel agent that since Dominica is still rebuilding from the hurricane, we are now going to Antigua in place of Dominica.

Of all of the islands we've been to, Antigua is still my favorite. Beautiful island. Beautiful beaches. I'd consider going there instead of Dominica an upgrade.:)

Nothing against Antigua, but Dominica has been my favorite island outside of Hawaii. Its natural beauty is stunning, and there is active volcanic activity you can go up to and touch. I would be very disappointed to miss it, and I hope the island is ready to receive passengers when we are scheduled to visit in August.

 

I'm actually surprised to hear this change, since other ships have called on Dominica recently, and the island depends on tourism revenue so much...
