susiefenton Posted March 3, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 3, 2018 Does a Canadian resident need to purchase a tourist card from the cruise line to enter Cuba for 2 days as part of a cruise that stops in Havana in 2018 AND I am told from my travel agent that I may only leave the ship in Havana as part of an organized tour bought from the cruise line. Has anybody had experience with this lately? We want to book a cruise stopping in Havana in January of 2019 but want to get off the ship and do things on our own. We did this in 2017 when on a Celestyal Crystal cruise and had no problems. Is this just the cruise line's way of ensuring we book a shore excursion with them?
