rocky55 Posted March 5, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 5, 2018 Hi! Thank everyone for help! I will be spending 3 nights in Rome in April in a hotel I found out about in here close to coliseum. I am traveling with my DD who loves a nice meal also. I am looking at suggestions for some places to eat. (Did a search and nothing really current came up). I would like some suggestions for lunch. One day we will be doing coliseum and things and the other day maybe a lunch place by the Vatican. We would also like some dinner suggestions. One dinner I would like to be a special one. (Not 300 a person special!). Maybe for the one special dinner I would be willing to go to 50-75 a person. (DD is to young to drink and I might have at most one glass of wine.). Thank you! hbrote Posted March 5, 2018 #2 Share Posted March 5, 2018 I have found a wonderful restaurant int Trastevere section of Rome. Not very far from the Colosseum but across the river with wonderful food and staff. jenZ Posted March 7, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 7, 2018 My hotel, Albergo del Senato near the Pantheon, suggested these when I asked for lunch and dinner recommendations for my upcoming trip. I requested ones that locals would go to and at least one with seafood. Have not tried them yet! I did check a few out and seems like there would be one for a special dinner! You could google distances from near the Vatican but I believe these would be less than 20 minutes walking time. Enjoy your trip! http://www.ristorantegrano.it (mediterranean cuisine) http://www.hostariacostanza.it (italian cuisine,) www .ilsostegno.it (typical roman cuisine) http://www.casacoppelle.it (french and italian cuisine) http:http://www.archimedesanteustachio.it http://larosettaristorante.it Sent from my iPhone using Forums
