allen1aj Posted December 26, 2005 #1 Share Posted December 26, 2005 Just returned from cave tubing in Belize and it was an experience not to be missed. For those who really want to be prepared, here is a packing list for this excursion: 1. Thick-soled water shoes (like Teva sandals) - the jungle path was rocky at times and flimsy water shoes wouldn't be as comfy. 2. Sun block - the jungle path is only partially shaded. 3. Underwater camera with flash - to capture this unforgettable moment :) 4. Towel - to dry off after your experience. 5. Change of clothes - for a dry ride home. 6. Bottled water - for the ride there and back. 7. Bug spray - a small bottle of bug spray (seasonal) 8. photo id & ship card 9. cash (to pay for the excursion and tip) Things to leave on the ship: Your valuables!! You will be leaving your bag with your towel, sunglasses, clothes, etc locked up on the bus so leave unnecessary items behind. And yes, leave your sunglasses on the bus~you will lose them in the water. Do not bring anything with you on the tour that you do not want to get wet. There are bathrooms, showers, and changing rooms at the site. Don't forget to have a great time! Amanda

I forgot to mention that I wore board shorts, so I have to agree with you on this one. Had I owned a shorty, I would have worn it. Amanda
