camper49 Posted March 11, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 11, 2018 Has anyone had cabin 6493 on the Breeze? Wondering about noise. We prefer to be on deck seven with cabins above and below ..but it appears that the only L shaped cabin available on our available date is deck 6. Above one of the theaters. We have this exact cabin booked for this November on a 14-day Journey cruise. Just love those L-shaped cabins on any deck. The thing we noticed was the ones located on Deck 6 (there are 4 cabins), all have 2 windows in them as well as the balcony door. It's kind of like a panoramic view without paying for it. We had cabin 6460 on the Magic last November and it's the same type set-up. With the location being at the rear of ship, you also have a better view looking down at the water because the lanai narrows back at that area. Didn't really have any noise below us and a lot less foot traffic being at the rear of the ship. In fact we just booked 6460 on the Breeze for another Journeys cruise for November 2019. Guess you can say we are hooked on them. :D
EllaDuChien Posted March 15, 2018 #3 Share Posted March 15, 2018 Just booked my first L shaped cabin on Sunshine for July. Interested to see the layout! I hope this doesn't ruin me for regular old square cabins!! :-)
13cheermom Posted March 16, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 16, 2018 Just booked my first L shaped cabin on Sunshine for July. Interested to see the layout! I hope this doesn't ruin me for regular old square cabins!! :-) We have had on e before on the Sunshine also, it was 7316. It was very nice and actually had a loveseat in it to sit on. I'm not sure about spoiling you, but this will be our 5th L-shaped that we have booked out of the last 9 cruises we've taken. They are hard to find but for the value in price we think they are definitely worth it. Hope you enjoy!
Susan in Maine Posted June 4, 2018 #5 Share Posted June 4, 2018 How does it work in these cabins with twins rather than a king?
