stayed in the El portal on the 15 and 16th of dec. we stayed on the 6th floor room 601 the room was ok for us the rugs and curtains were worn and stain. The bath room needed some better cleaning. Also when using the shower check the spout there is a ring at the end of it pull it down to use the shower. the ice machine is on the 4th floor and it was full every time we use it. breakfast is on the top of the building open with a full view all round. On the morn watch a rainbow form to the east.,after a light misty rain. there is a churches chicken, ataco bell burger king, pizza hutand a pondersa steak house within two blocks getting there is fun crossing those streets. heading toward the beach you will pass some Jap. eating places. A walgreens is on Ashford also along Ashford there are all types of eating from fast food to some great local places.

the cost from the airport was 15 dollars.when getting your taxi show the driver the adress and then hold on to your hat.
