Rare patrice1 Posted December 28, 2005 #1 Share Posted December 28, 2005 How much is the daily rate to park? Are there hotels you can stay at in Miami and leave your car? We live in the Keys & are debating flying v. driving, depending on where we can park the car and how much it is. We are definately coming into Miami a day ahead and will probably stay near Bayside. CruisinMatt Posted December 28, 2005 #2 Share Posted December 28, 2005 I paid $47 for 5 days. I had to prepay in cash which was not what was stated on the Port of Miami website. - I sailed on the Carnival Fascination.
barbie5401 Posted December 28, 2005 #3 Share Posted December 28, 2005 when you are sailing with RCCL and you can pay with credit card when you get off the ship. You could stay at a Embassy Suite or Hampton Inn near the airport (cheap but nice) leave your car and take a cab or park at the airport - it comes to about the same. While it comes to about the same, the security at the port is tight. Your car will be where you left it when you return. One cannot say the same when leaving it at a hotel. So, cost of parking at the port and not having to worry about your car - priceless! ;)
mimikens Posted January 2, 2006 #5 Share Posted January 2, 2006 Except for the slashed tires I got about 5 years ago. :( Amazingly, I still park at the Port, but I try to get there very early so I can park in the garage. I have never had a problem with my car in there.
