D class cabins?

I've never cruised before and would like to hear from anyone who has an opinion on the D class cabins on the Regatta. The trip we are considering is very port intensive and only D cabins are left. Is this good or not so good? Thanks for your help

How far away from the trip are you..if it is at least several months and you want a different cabin category have your TA get a guarantee or wait list it..it will most likely come through..the category D cabin has a porthole instead of a window..
