room 6086 on summit

We will be going on the summit to Alaska on aug.12,2006. Our cabin is on the penthouse deck #6086 with a balcony. Our friends are in #6088. This is our first cruise so we are wondering if these cabins are good choices? Any information would be helpful.

It's a very quiet deck. We were in 6093 and loved it. The ride is very smooth. You must be right by the mid ship elevator and stairs. very convenient. You're half way to wherever you are going on the ship. There are no inside cabins here, so there is not as much traffic as on decks that have cabins on both sides of the hallway.
