Kids club on Carnival

Recommended Posts

we are going on Horizon in 2 weeks time with daughter and her family. They have read they can leave the children in kids club and leave the ship as long as they go on a ship tour. However, we have also read the kids club is open from 10.00/1.00 then from 2.00/5.00. Does this mean they can only book a ship excursion for the morning as long as they are back by 1pm?

TIA

You can leave the kids at the club when you off the ship. You don’t have to take a ship excursion. We walked around old San Juan and went to see the forts without our kids. We didn’t do a tour.

Just need to tell the counselors when you drop off the kids that you will not be back for lunch. They will happily feed them as others have noted.

We did this 2 times, when our youngest was 2 and 3 so we could take his older brother on learning trips to ruins. One was in Costa Maya and we were on a ships tour that returned between 130-2. We walked on board, he was happily fed and playing and asked him if he wanted to go ashore to the big pool. I am not even sure he had noticed we were gone!
