Electronic Craps on Equinox

Thank you! Looks like we are going to be at the table getting yelled at for doing it wrong [emoji15]

No one will yell at you, just maybe give you some strange looks. LOL

I love to play craps, but still have to think of all the rules and odds. The dealers will help you enjoy the game..

Don’t be shy and tell them you are novice players.

What might help you is a online tutorial game for practice before you go on board.

Good luck!

We played a few times, but after a while, you forget a lot of the rules. That’s why we usually go to the electronic one first since it won’t LET you do illegal moves.

Banana, are you talking about those electronic ones in Vegas that are huge, with several people sitting around them, and a big dome thing in the middle?

I think you are going to be shocked by not only how big the Gym is, but how SMALL the casino is!

I've seen free on-line games for most casino table games, maybe there is one for dice that you could practice on before you sail?

Oh no! That small, huh? Lol! Yes, that’s the exact one I’m talking about. I don’t know how big they are in Vegas, but our casino here fits about 8 people.

I suppose I could try a Craps game on my iPad or something. I’m sure they have them.

On the contrary, our last Equinox cruise one night we casually walked over to the Craps table with only 2-3 people playing. I was quietly explaining some of the betting details to my DW when the closest player chided me for doing so and especially for breaking some sacred rule of never mentioning certain numbers near the table. I usually play a little which was why I was doing the explaining why it was better than slots, but I chose not to play any craps that cruise because of his rude behavior.

Don't ever be intimidated by another player at the craps table. I've played for years & have often seen dumb moves by large players. I generally try to just focus on what I'm doing & ignore the rest of the players, especially the "don't pass" ones.

Yeah, I have been "talked to" by the dealers and casino workers....but it would be a cold day if someone playing talked to me like that. In fact, I would have stood RIGHT next to him and talked the whole time....for the whole cruise. Hahaha!

But surely if you know enough about craps to be explaining the rules to someone at the table you know that it's considered unlucky to be doing that while someone is rolling the dice. Especially saying the number 7 on someone's roll. I'm not saying that a rude talking to from the player was appropriate, it absolutely wasn't, but If you want to teach someone how to play craps, find an empty table and throw your own money out there and do all the explaining you want.

Don’t worry about the rules. Craps is easy. You put chips on the felt. Someone rolls the dice. Groans all around the table. Dealer slides all the chips into their pile. Repeat same process until you are out of chips.

Now THAT part, I don't forget. --- I never win! The only reason I like to play is because I can make $100 last hours, whereas playing slots, it's gone in 15 minutes.
