Koali Posted April 21, 2018 #1 Share Posted April 21, 2018 We’re considering a cruise that leaves from Montreal. We’ll be flying in the night before arriving at 11pm so our only time to explore the city is just a few hours before embarkation. We would typically stay near the cruise port , leave our luggage at the hotel and then pick it up when we head to the port after exploring. Unfortunately it looks like all of the hotels are already sold out and the remaining ones are not in our budget. Any suggestions on what to do with our luggage? We would like to go to Basilique Notre Dame and walk around Old Montreal area. Is the church large enough to maneuver through with luggage? Koali Posted April 21, 2018 Author #2 Share Posted April 21, 2018 I found my answer! We can leave our luggage at the cruise port!
Jolie_Cruiser Posted April 21, 2018 #3 Share Posted April 21, 2018 We posted at the same time... Indeed, luggage storage is available both for embarking and disembarking passengers at the cruise terminal. More info. in this link: https://www.port-montreal.com/en/access-to-berths.html The Basilique Notre-Dame is nearby so no need to carry your luggage there. Anyway, since it is a church and rolling suitcases are noisy not sure it would be allowed.
love2driveinct Posted April 25, 2018 #4 Share Posted April 25, 2018 Thank you for asking this question... we are disembarking in Montreal, and although we are hopeful our hotel there can take our luggage that morning, I'm glad to hear we have other options.
