seadogngulfport Posted April 22, 2018 #1 Share Posted April 22, 2018 Just wondering if anyone has put up a personal hammock in a cove balcony. :cool::cool::cool:
RWolver672 Posted April 22, 2018 #2 Share Posted April 22, 2018 For starters, there isn't that much room on the balconies to have one. Then, where would you tie it to? I'm pretty sure your cabins steward would tell you to take it down if you did manage to find a way to tie it up. They don't like flammable things on the balconies. jmcancruise Posted April 22, 2018 #3 Share Posted April 22, 2018 Actually I am sure I have read on here that some have successfully done it. Yes I am sure you would have to take it down when not in use. Do a little more searching and I am sure you will find where it has been done. tafische Posted April 23, 2018 #4 Share Posted April 23, 2018 I have only done it in an AFT balcony. It was great...Not sure it will work in a cove...not long enough.... but if you can...enjoy!

Tiger0613 Posted April 23, 2018 #7 Share Posted April 23, 2018 Sent from my iPad using Forums That is a regular balcony. Cove balconies are all metal since they are built into the hull.

Tiger0613 Posted April 28, 2018 #10 Share Posted April 28, 2018 Hmmm wonder if it's bigger? Sent from my iPad using Forums I think they are a little bigger, but I don't know if there is anything to tie a hammock to. I didn't look for that. The walls between balconies are bigger. You can't lean over and look into your neighbor's balcony like you can with regular balconies.
