What night is formal night on a 5 day?

It is never the first night nor the last night. First night, because it maybe late before you get luggage. Last night, who wants to go home in formals, because you have to have luggage out in the hallway the night before. With all that said it is up to the CD they make the call. However, it usually will be the first sea day of the cruise (on a 7 day cruise). I have never done a 5 day cruise (7 or better here) so I'm not sure it that will change things. If I had to guess on a 5 day cruise, and day # 2 or 3 was a sea day one of those days would be the day. If both days are sea days well ...........flip a coin.

It is generally the second evening of the cruise, regardless of the length of cruise. If you embark on Sunday, it would be Monday night.
