Ventura Refit Update

I struggled to find helpful information about the Ventura refit before my cruise so here is an update. Feel free to add your own observations.

 

New carpets. Some artwork replaced and generally the ship had an updated feel.

 

Shops have been changed completely. I really like the introduction of Dixons travel. Prices were reasonable and you could buy all kinds of gadgets which you might have forgotten to take with you.

 

Led screen in theatre. Gives shows a new dimension. Interesting but not a spectacular addition.

 

TV - No change to TV. Program updated in line with fleet so you can no longer check your account via TV. Have to go to guest services. A good range of films available, almost all were free to watch.

 

No noticeable updates or improvements in gym/spa area.

 

Unless you have a keen eye, you would not notice a big difference. In fact what you will notice are the things they neglected to fix.

Dixons Travel has been on Ventura for some months so not new on refit.
