Drl75 Posted May 11, 2018 #1 Share Posted May 11, 2018 Does anyone know why So many of these suites (17) would still be for sale with a cruise only 42 days from now? Will the price go down on these prior to sail if they still haven’t sold?
Pratique Posted May 11, 2018 #2 Share Posted May 11, 2018 It's impossible to know why but sometimes a large number of rooms could be released if a group cancels. Like a Saudi prince and his entourage (our last loft attendant said they will reserve rooms just to store all of their luggage). As far as price I would just keep checking every day. Will the price go down on these prior to sail if they still haven’t sold? We sail on Anthem in 20 days. With 40 days left there were 20 full suites and about 25 JS. We're now down to 2 full suites and 0 JS. I assume they started upselling people into higher categories. The prices dropped slightly on the full suites, but not on the JS, however prices did not drop significantly (maybe $300 per person, max). But, as Bob said, no guarantees.
