dcup Posted January 2, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 2, 2006 going on 3rd costa cruise, i guess we like costa! daughters 13 and 16 are looking for other girls in their age group for this sailing. be forewarned though as parents we keep a close on eye on activites. they also homeschool. they have been lucky with costa so far and have made good freinds on each cruise. they tell us that out of 9 cruises costa seems to treat teens with the most respect. without going into detail we did not like the way rci or carnival treated them. basically they were not allowed to sit or dance anywhere after 10-11pm even with us! goldencup Posted January 2, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 2, 2006 My teens found that too. I think Italians being very family orientated are used to having their kids up late with them and it's considered the norm.
coopeg2 Posted January 3, 2006 #3 Share Posted January 3, 2006 We are travelling on the same date with another family, there will be one boy 13, girls 14, 15 and 16. We have never cruised Costa before but are really looking forward to it. Stoon Traveler
