Miami to Port

We are a group of 12, would like to know the best way to get from MIA to the port and back to the airport?

Also there might be a possibility of coming in the day before our ship leaves...so any suggestion on hotels to stay at and if they offer any type of shuttle service to the port?

Downtown Miami is your best bet for the night before your cruise, and DO NOT EVEN THINK OF NOT COMING IN A DAY BEFORE YOUR CRUISE! There are just too many things that can happen when you fly in on the day of your cruise with delayed or cancelled flights, weather problems, air traffic control delays, delayed baggage, etc.

No hotels have free shuttle to the Port of Miami. You'll either need 3 cabs, or Super Shuttle... http://www.supershuttle.com/htm/cities/mia.htm

I just returned from Miami on December 12th. We found the rates for super shuttle were actually higher than on their web site. We ended up taking a cab, and got van. We took the van from the airport to the area near the port and actually stopped at two hotels. There were 4 of us in the van and it ended up costing about $8 per person. Not bad at all!

Hope this helps!

Sharon
