Alaska Glacier Cruise

Recommended Posts

Anyone on the Alaskan cruise this week and give me a heads up on weather and clothing

Pack for everything. The weather reports change by the second. I've been three times and had everything from 80's to 40's and drizzle...in a two day period of time.

That quote is the best advice ever. Further to this, July 1 2011.... JULY ... I was on top front deck of Rhapsody going through the inside passage to Juneau to enjoy sail-in. It was a cold 40-45 degrees with rain driving down at an angle. In Skagway I have pictures going to Yukon in hiking shorts and long sleeve shirt (no fleece). At Tracey Arm Fjord again pictures with winter gear/layers and touque on. 2 days later in Victoria I got sunburned on the pool deck. I have pictures of all of this.

Bring layers, that's the key. And absolutely bring some rainproof (not rain resistant) jackets/gear if you have some.
