Shopping outlets in San Juan

We are going on a cruise that stops in San Juan, St. Thomas, and St. Martin and were wondering if there were any good "outlet" shops in any of these places? Maybe Coach, Polo Ralph Lauren, Fresh Produce, etc. I heard there may be some good outlet shopping out there (as opposed to full price stores). Thank you!

There are two. One in Canovanas which is like an hour from the pier, its bigger than the one in Barceloneta(which is also an hour away, but to the east). There are stores like Polo Ralph Lauren,Calvin klein(canovanas),bcbg(canovanas) and alot more that might be to your interest. But I would recommend Belz Factory Outlet in Canovanas.

So you have to go an hour away from San Juan for outlet shopping? Someone mentioned to us that there are outlets in San Juan. That would make more sense since that is where most of the tourists are located.

The Coach outlet store is located in Old San Juan - 158 Calle del Cristo - I certainly plan to make a stop there. I don't know about the other outlets, but would be interested in the information.

We always go to the Coach store and the Polo store. They are Factory Outlet stores so they are not dirt cheap but are much better than regular retail. Better deals on wallets and belts and accessories than purses but they will have some "past season" handbags discounted.
