Will Captain's Club honor coupons if you are already booked?

We have been able to take advantage of the Captain's Club coupons on most of our cruises. We booked early this time for a Feb. 2005 cruise. We are waiting to see if there will be a coupon in the next Captain's Club newsletter for our cruise. Do you think they will honor it after we have already booked? Being that it is a ten day cruise, it would be nice to be able to use it. Hey, every little bit helps. There have been conflicting reports on these boards. Sometimes they will and sometimes they won't. I hope it works out for you.

When we were on the Horizon in April we booked the Mercury for January 05. We were told that any coupons that came out between then and the cruise would definitely be honoured.

Yes I have had coupons honored after booking. Usually it states on the coupon if you can use them for a cruise you have already booked or if it is for new cruises only.

Please give me a name to call and talk to at Celebrity. We booked a SUITE earlier this year for Nov 29 Horizon sailing, then received $200 coupons in CC Newsletter for our sailing.

My TA checked and was refused. So I emailed Celebrity was told "NO" they would not accept the coupon "because we booked before the effective date of the coupon".

I'd be happy with a cabin credit.

Caribbean...This has been the WORST issue with Celebrity. I too have booked a suite on the Horizon, had the same problem. Here is the solution: find people that have gotten the discount on YOUR sailing, call up CORPORATE (not, I repeat not, Captain's Club)and give them the names. You can find out this info on the connections board. Hope that you have a lively group with lots of postings. If you get specific names they will honor the coupon. I hate, hate, hate this. It has caused much animosity and ill will.

I read this thread this morning and called Celebrity because I couldn't find my coupons. Turns out they never got mailed to me. The rep I talked to gave me the coupon number to give my TA, which I will do tomorrow. That will give me an extra $125 off on my Alaska cruise Sept 5th! I'll post again after I hear back from my TA that it was accepted (I'm an eternal optimist!).

We were given the credit, even though we booked early. I just gave my TA the coupon code number - didn't even have to send in the coupon.

Just yesterday, I booked the Century for Jan. 2005. My TA e-mailed a bit ago and suggested I check with the Captains Club for coupons. I called and was told that 2005 coupons have not been released yet. The next newsletter comes out in August, and then after that is October. Hopefully there will be some good ones in those!

I booked a Hawaii trip and then the coupons came out. The dates for the booking did not gel with my booking date. I sent in the coupon anyways and just last week talked with the Celeb rep and my coupon was applied.Maybe because I booked with Celeb they honored it, or maybe it's better not to ask first...just send it in!

Try again!!!!! We booked a suite on the Millie before the coupons came out. I called the Captain's Club, which is where I made my booking and they honored it! Call them back and get someone else on the line.
