Qualifications for ultra cruise

The material I've received in the past stated earning 7,500 points on a single premier cruise would qualify you for ultra; however, I've never reached 7,500 points on a premier cruise (nor on any cruise) and I've been invited twice for Ultra. In fact, I've only taken a premier cruise once in the past 3 years or so. I didn't originally book as premier that time, but I was already booked on a cruise last New Year's Eve, and it ended up being a premier cruise, so I price matched to it. I've never seen anything that says taking the shorter premier getaway offers possible qualification for ultra. IMHO Carnival looks at your overall casino history when they make casino offers, but that is only my opinion based on my personal experiences. If I were you, I'd prefer trying to qualify for a bounce back offer because they tend to be better offers IMHO. You can always ask a casino host onboard about that. I've also learned from personal experience that ship casino staff cannot always offer things that Carnival's land-based casino staff can. So don't hesitate to contact Player's Club staff from home in addition to communicating with ship-based casino staff. Hope that helps.

Thank you winddawn

I have read that earning 7500 points on the premiere qualifies you for early access to the ultra

I also have read that taking a premiere January through May qualifies for a spring ultra offer and June through December qualifies for a fall ultra offer, however I think I read that the premiere cruise must be a certain length (6 days or longer) to qualify but can't be sure my memory serves me well and also can't remember where I read this.

So I am wondering if the shorter getaway premiere would qualify for the ultra offer

I don't know how it works but here is my situation: I cruised with Carnival once last Oct. and raked up 13,000 points. This year I got the invite for Premiere cruise and I pass due to schedule conflict. This week I got an invite for the Ultra cruise but I didn't do the Premiere at all. So....I don't know how this all work and would like to know also.

I will be on Carnival again end of this month. This is not from any of the invites but it is also free from other source. I am sure I will rake up some more points on top of what I got last year. Let see if I will get invite for the Elite cruise later on. If I do then it is probably base on level of play and number of points accumulated.
