Has anyone done one of the debark excursions in San Diego?

I understand They pick you and your luggage up at the ship, you tour for a while then deliver you to the airport.

I am new to HAL and find the website very confusing so thought I would turn to the experts here with my questions.

- did you think it was worth the cost? +/- $70 I believe ($140/couple)

- what time did you get dropped of at the airport?

- did you have any time at each stop to have a good look or was it mostly a quick drive on the bus with the odd photo op stop

- can you arrange once on the ship or is there a chance of being filled up if not booked ahead?

We have be on the debark excursion in San Diego after our Hawaiian cruise last year. It was a nice tour and a good way to kill several hours before our flight home. They also take you to your terminal at the airport.

Do you remember what time you were dropped at the airport?

Our flight leaves at 4:30 pm and flying internationally so technically we should be there by 1:30.

When you look at the excursion online they have several offerings based on you flight time. We flew out at 5 pm and they got us at the airport around 1:30
