We are booked on Ncl Star out of LA for the March 9th to 16th 2019 cruise. We are coming in a day early but need advice for booking return flight to ORD. NCL says it arrives at port at 8 am . If anyone has experienced this cruise at this time of year what is a safe departure time and how long does it take to disembark and make it to LAX ? Thanks in advance

Depending on weather conditions, you "should" dock about 6 A.M. Again depending on how long it takes for the ship to be cleared, " Early Walk Off" Disembarkation should begin about 7:30 A.M.

It is a good 30 to 45 minutes from the pier in San Pedro depending on what day of the week and any traffic accidents.

I would not book a flight out of LAX before at least Noon. LAX can be a real nightmare itself.
