Helsinki - Midsummer 23 June 2018 - transport and market

Hello

we will be in Helsinki between 0700 and 1500 on Saturday 23 June 2018 which is a public holiday, Midsummer Day.

We are due to dock at LMA. What time will the trams start to run that day please (I read elsewhere that not till 1100?)

Will the market at Kauppatori be open on Midsummer Day?

On Midsummer Day the trams will run according to Sunday time table so the first #7 tram will start from West Harbour at 0551.

Note that tram 7 will take another route 25 June - 22 July due to track work. That's why there are two tables for tram 7.

 

I'm afraid the Market Square might be closed as well as many of the shops/stores.
