Does anyone know if the cabins on deck 9 mid ship balcony category BB have the bed by the balcony or by the bathroom

It depends on the stateroom. It can be either setup.

Although there are a few errors on the deck-plan, in most cases, the bed location can be deciphered by looking for the wider part of the stateroom. Where it is wider is where the bed will be.

 

Again, there are some errors in the deck-plan so it isn't 100% that you will know unless someone else has stayed in that exact same stateroom and gives the info, posts a picture/video.

I believe they alternate (roughly). Some will have the bed by the balcony, others by the closet.

Has anyone experienced excessive noise on deck 9 Getaway cabins over the Waterfront!

Not sure about noise from deck 9, but we had a balcony cabin on deck 8 and never had an issue with noise
