Floridiana Posted July 21, 2018 #3 Share Posted July 21, 2018 I have been but not on a cruise stop. We prearranged a car rental and drove around the island on the ring road. Since we stayed in one of the small bungalow hotels, we learned about the history of the island and its depopulation. All very interesting. I recommend learning about the island before you arrive, makes for a more enjoyable visit. We took a cave tour - you need to be nimble for it. Contact the tourist office to arrange a guided forest visit. Hopefully you are there on a weekday.

There is a beach within easy walking distance of the tender pier. There are stairs down to the beach, however the stairs end, and the last 10 feet are a challenge to get down (and up) Sent from my iPhone using Forums
