Seaside - Onboard Communication

My family has no need for an internet package but we would of course love to be able to communicate with each other on board to determine location, etc. MSC provides the ability to do onboard messaging with other guests for free with the MSC Travellers App but that is only available on Divina, Magnfica and Preziosa. Can't imagine why it is not offered on their newest ships, but apparently it is not.

 

How do other families handle this? Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated.

My family used whatsapp on the Seaside but you need wifi for it so would only work if you have an internet package.

Leave a voicemail for them by dialing their cabin number, or just agree on a time/place to meet.
