Adventure of the Seas. Embarkation lunch besides Wingammer?

We are coming back to Royal after a few years, going on Adventure of the Seas in a month.

I'm trying to avoid the madness of Windjammer on the embarkation day.

 

Is there anything else open for lunch? A dining room?

Cafe Promenade is open, and Johnny Rockets usually opens after noon.

WJ got pretty packed, found it difficult to get a table, being a party of 6. We did utilize Cafe Promenade, but the line tends to be long at times and moves rather slowly. I did enjoy the small sandwiches and pizza. Was disappointed when they didn't have the vegetarian sandwich, which was terrific!

ON Adventure 5/18/18 the MDR was open for lunch from 12-1 PM only. Not sure if this happens on all Adventure sailings. Was a welcome relief from first day WJ madness.
