Casino question for the Century

I cannot remember from the last cruise on the Century if the casino accepts coins, or if it has gone to the paper system.

I know many places are shifting towards paper coupons as payouts, especially the large hotels in Las Vegas.

I'm leaving next week for the short 2 day to CocoCay and ......well....its kinda dumb, but would like to roll up my spare Quarters and Nickels to take with.

The mind gets old at 42...at least mine does.

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks!!!!

Hi Dave !

They still use coins, but they did get a bunch of new Slot machines several weeks ago, including some penny Video Slots, which were a lot of fun. Winnings ? that's another matter <smile>

Warning, we just got off the Century of 9 nights, and the Casino was obviously paying for it's new slots. I have never heard so many people complain about losing so much money. DH was in there a lot, and never won anything. He said hardly anyone won this cruise.

Big Tip...you will be a winner if you STAY OUT. Save your money and do some great excursions, or give it to a worthwhile charity.

HI Dave - We are also going on the 2 nighter on the 12th, we have a little roll call so check it out. We're all meeting in the Martini Bar around 5pm if you can stop by and say hi.

We'll also venture into the Casino. Sometimes you just have to make a donation and some times you get to walk away with everyone else's donations.

I've rolled about 150.00 worth of quarters and nickels.....I'd trade them in for cash but I find something exciting (in a sick sort of way) with dragging my change with me. At this point it doesn't seem like real money...but X-tra.

My problem is the airport....they always stop and search my bag. I guess a roll of nickels is comsidered a weapon now-a-days:D

Since this is only a two nighter I'm guessing that both nights at dinner would be casual? Or do I need to bring my tux?

Never did anything less than a three night and the second night is usually formal.
