fflashh Posted July 28, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 28, 2018 Looks like from diagrams that this stateroom has a HUGE angular balcony. This is why we (married couple 60 yo) put a deposit on it, a 11 nighter in January . But I'm worried about noise, mostly. I can't tell just what is above it. We like higher decks, closeness to elevators, and a seemingly large balcony, but is there a prominent overhang just above it? Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks, fflashh. ready2cruzagain Posted July 28, 2018 #2 Share Posted July 28, 2018 You are right under the pool bar. Noise, I would think so. I hate booking under the pool deck https://cruisedeckplans.com/DP/deckplans/MSC-Divina
riclop Posted July 28, 2018 #3 Share Posted July 28, 2018 Did you not look at the deck plans???
tallyho8 Posted July 29, 2018 #4 Share Posted July 29, 2018 There is a large overhang above it. You will not be able to see anything towards the front of the ship but have an excellent view besides and behind it with a large balcony. The pool bar has no movable chairs so you will not hear a lot of chairs sliding back and forth as you would if you were a little further back. CalGal777sprotoge Posted July 29, 2018 #7 Share Posted July 29, 2018 Being under the pool bar should actually be ok for you, as long as you are not under the buffet or main dining rooms where you will hear moving of chairs, clinging of silverware, etc. On the other hand, the elevator is so close to you that may be a bigger issue for you. fflashh Posted July 31, 2018 Author #8 Share Posted July 31, 2018 Did you not look at the deck plans??? Yeah! Yes I did, riclop and didn't come up with a definitive answer or I would't have made the post. Sounds reasonable to me.
