Lvntrvl Posted July 28, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 28, 2018 Looking at these 3 ships for a holiday cruise. We have a group of 8 (ages 23-64), some of which are first time cruisers. Which would you choose and why?
Clarea Posted July 28, 2018 #2 Share Posted July 28, 2018 I'll be in the minority, but I'd choose Navigator or Mariner, because there are fewer guests and no entertainment reservations.
OfTheSeasCruiser Posted July 28, 2018 #3 Share Posted July 28, 2018 Harmony will offer the most activities. Mariner and Navigator are very similar, but Mariner just came out of a major dry dock with waterslides, SkyPad, etc. What are the itineraries? EmilyJay Posted July 28, 2018 #4 Share Posted July 28, 2018 I sailed Harmony in October and loved it, it was a full capacity sailing which for new cruises maybe a little daunting. We are booked on Navigator for March after the refurb and although I was a little worried about going on a smaller ship I'm now really looking forward to it. I feel Navigator is a good size to start on, no need to worry about making entertainment reservations etc and usually more option of ports of call compared to the larger ships. That being said I would just go with what itinerary you all like best, all the ships are great fun and regardless of which one you choose I'm sure you'll have an amazing time.
