pt363 Posted January 7, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 7, 2006 I am an owner of a company, and the plans are for a christmas gift to my employees is to go on a cruise with their families. When I try to go to the DCL site, you can only book up to 3 staterooms, but I would like at least 4. Since I would like to have everyone together, would you suggest going through a TA or DCL directly? Has anyone done this before? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks pt363
mom x4,grandma x4 Posted January 7, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 7, 2006 Hi, I know that you can sometimes get a better price by using a TA, but we have always booked through DCL directly. We have booked as many as 5 rooms at a time. The reason being if any problems arise, such as a cancellation or questions about excursions, or any other things that could come up, ( and they do happen) it is always easy, and quick to call DCL when you booked with them and make any changes you need to or get questions answered. We have had to change rooms before which DCL did quickly for us, where as I have read many times people wanting to switch bu their TA said it was practically impossible to do. I think a lot of TA'S loose interest in your special needs once you've booked. Not all of them, I'm sure there are many great ones out there. But having taken 10 DCL cruises, I know things can come up and DCL will always take care of it ASAP . Just my opinion. Good luck, you must be a great boss to give such a gift to your employees! Got any job openings for an old grandma???? mom x4,grandma x4
Rare PattiPB Posted January 7, 2006 #3 Share Posted January 7, 2006 I'm wondering if you have any openings with your company!!! :) My suggestion is to use a travel agent. We used All Seas booking multiple cabins, and they gave us a great price and good service.
