DH and I were looking at this cruise, but discovered that we didn't haven enough vacation time to do it properly. We were both laid off in 2016, and both started new jobs in 2017, so our vacation clocks dropped back to two weeks of leave per year. (Frustrating American leave policies.)

Take a couple of sickies or unpaid leave. For us every day is a holiday.
