cruznlobo Posted January 7, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 7, 2006 What was the Liberty doing at Montego Bay. I didn't think it stopped there.
jkm151 Posted January 7, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 7, 2006 I have heard that the Liberty went there instead of Costa Maya because Costa Maya was overcrowded and couldnt handle anymore ships or people. We are on the Liberty on 1/21/06 for western caribbean. Would rather go to Jamiaca if Costa Maya cant handle the crowds.

Littlegoo75 Posted January 9, 2006 #5 Share Posted January 9, 2006 Curious as to how many ships can dock at Costa Maya. I checked one of those websites that show which ships will be at which ports on certain dates, and on Feb 16th, it shows that there are supposed to be about 5 ships at Costa Maya in addition to the Liberty. That seems like 3 too many ! I too would rather go elsewhere if it's going to be crowded, I just want to know ahead of time. I have never been to Jamaica, so I wouldn't mind going there instead. How about Roatan since that port doesn't get too many ships....I would love to go back there. Now I know why Carnival won't sell the Costa Maya excursions via the website.
