Cheap Hotel in Houston

We will be arriving at 10:46pm at IAH the night before our cruise out of Galveston (March 4) so we just need a place to sleep. The cheaper the better, unless it will make us wish we were sleeping on the plane. :)

What's a good way to get to Galveston in the morning also? Do the hotels have shuttles?

Hi, me again. I've just done a travelocity search and these are the 2 I've narrowed it down to from that list (I'm open to other suggestions, though) :

Comfort Suites Intercontinental Plaza

Country Inn and Suites Houston Intercontinental AP South

They're both "at" the IAH airport so that would be nice, but does anyone know anything else about them, like are they any good and do they do cruise transfers? Thank you.

Suggest you also try Tripadvisor:

It's about 70 miles from Houston's IAH to Galveston. You're not likely to find a hotel shuttle.

There are a number of transportation alternatives: Rental cars (Enterprise is popular for this route) and limos are used most frequently. You'll find plenty of advise on the Princess board. Just look under Grand Princess posts.
