We are staying @ the Courtyard by Marriott in Downtown Miami.

paid $55.00 on Priceline. At the time I booked it, Marriott and Travelocity were selling in for $189.00 per night.

 

We're getting in pretty late at night...and heading to the ship in the am. So, just a good place to sleep.

Holiday Inn Bayside was great for us.

 

We got a great rate and Bayside Marketplace is right across the street. It's a great place with little shops, usually live outdoor, entertainment. Several small bars. There is also Bubba Gumps and Hooters.

We're staying at Holiday Inn Port of Miami (Bayside). As the other poster mentioned, the location is great and the hotel, while not a 4 star hotel, is quite nice. We've stayed there at least 5-6 times, and will be there again the end of May. We got a rate of $113 for a suite (government rate).
